Zoe B&T

Base & Temporary Filling Cement ZOE B&T cement is zinc oxide-eugenol with polymer reinforcement. As the initials imply, ZOE B&T cement is used for bases and temporary restorations. It provides a hard sedative base under all types of posterior restoratives except resins. As a temporary restorative it has clinical durability of up to one year. ZOE B&T cement is a powder and liquid that are mixed to a putty consistency in approximately one minute. It is easily inserted and carved without being sticky. ZOE B&T cement provides ample placement time but sets promptly in the mouth (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes) ZOE B&T cement demonstrates high compressive strength; excellent abrasion resistance; low solubility; and good sealing properties.
