Fynal® Cement

Fynal® Cement is a zinc oxide-eugenol composition indicated for the final cementation of finished crowns, bridges and inlays.

Chemical composition: Fynal® cement is a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol composition.
Clinical uses: Fynal® cement is used as a non-irritating final cement for finished crowns, bridges, and inlays. Due to possible shade alteration it should not be used against plastic and ceramic full crowns which do not have metal cores.
Handling characteristics: It mixes easily to a non-runny consistency that flows only under pressure. Fynal® cement provides ample work time but sets promptly. Excess cement is easily removed from tooth and appliance.
Physical characteristics: The excellent physical properties resulting from the unique polymer reinforcing agents include: high compressive and tensile strengths; low film thickness; and low solubility. To obtain optimum physical properties, the recommended powder/liquid ratio should be used.
